tldr;

27.7km / 6.5 hour hike, Drive / Taxi / Drive and back. 712m ascent

Logistics

We hired a car and drove to Old Mooney Mooney bridge (about 1hr out of Sydney City) a taxi back from Pearl beach to the car about 80AU.

Then drove back(There was 1 uber in the area, It went out of range before we GOT a chance to book it) from Mooney Mooney Bridge

Gear

Trail shoes, about 3L of water(plus hydration), hiking pack with snacks and lunch. First aide kit, Sunscreen, Shorts, T-shirt, GoPro, spare battery and cable

Probably the easiest of all the sections as there was a lot of fire trail walking, not so many hills and a manageable distance to cover

Outlook Outlook

This walk was after a number of bush fires, online information showed that the trail was open though when we get there we did see a sign, not sure but this may have been left behind
